Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 8 - Tea Parties recap (finale)

Umineko Chiru Episode 8 Tea Party

Featherine says she's going to write just a little bit more and then she's done...
Bern is sewing Lambdadelta back together. Erika comes in and brings her some materials, then Bern tells her to get out. Erika gets mad and starts tickling Lambda's arm
Erika writes a letter to them... telling them about how Gertrude, Cornelia, Will, and herself are doing..
Then they start talking about where they're going to go this time...
Bern:
If you go north, I'll go south." Lambda: "If you go east, I'll go west." - "I... hope we can find another charming tale like this one.
We'll meet again. When something else cries.

Umineko Chiru Episode 8 ????

Decades later, at some publishing award ceremony... People are talking about the award winning Sakutaro series... the author's name... was Kotobuki Yukari. Kotobuki was dying of cancer, and she said that she hadn't finished telling everything she needed to tell...

Someone asks her if she knows of the novelist Hachijo Tohya... apparently Hachijo wants to meet Kotobuki.
Did she really reach the truth? Why did she reach something that was infinitely close to the truth, "even from my perspective"?
They also tell her that Hachijo Tohya is actually two people... there's a female and male who were both the authors of the forgeries...
As soon as I heard that... I felt a premonition of a certain kind of miracle...
When I left on my journey, I abandoned the name of Ushiromiya Ange and stepped into a new life.

However, now that "Sakutarou's Adventure" has caught the public eye this year and made the name of Kotobuki Yukari famous... maybe it finally reached his ears."
the number of people who could recognize her from the connection with Sakutarou was very, very limited.
At the very instant that the arranged time came, they appeared... a man sitting in a wheelchair... and a woman pushing him.
There's no doubt about it... He's my brother... Ushiromiya Battler...
Hachijo Tohya introduce themselves...
My name is Hachijo Ikuko. I am mostly in charge of the actual writing... This is Tohya. He mostly handles drafting.
Even though Ikuko was much older, she was very youthful looking... There was a strange mystique about her... as though she was immortal and never-aging. Tohya says they've been together a long time...
Come to think of it, by now, he was staring back into my face. After all, I had been just six years old last time. It must be hard for him

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 8 - Twilight of the Golden Witch recap part 8 (endings)

Battler coughed, which means by some miracle he was still alive...
Well, that was a nice warm-up. Shall we get started, Bernkastel? Round 2
Impossible!!... [red truth] Battler is dead!!!
I've used the red truth!! I've said that Battler is dead, right?! So why, how did he come back to life?!
Even if the whole world says he's dead... I'll be the one person in the world who believes... Onii-chan is alive.
Even if the whole world refuses to acknowledge it, the miracle will happen as long as we believe!!
There will be no miracle!! [red truth] There exists no one whom you can trust!!
The mystery was deflected back by... Beato...
You call that cliche a triiiick...?!! I've read and gotten bored of that one long ago!
At this point, Ange's abilities make the red truth completely meaningless to her.
Everyone from Rokkenjima/Golden Land slowly appeared, and rose to their feet.
Even if the whole world denies my hope, I won't abandon it. I won't abandon my unshakable hope that everyone's alive... This is something that I've finally reached... This is... my attitude as a witch.
I am the Golden Witch, ANGE Beatrice... My titles are the Golden, the Endless, and the Witch of Resurrection.
Oh yeah, I remember that stuff about her resurrection abilities from ep4... it's amazing she came back to that after going through this obsession with becoming the "Witch of Truth"
Everyone will be with me for eternity. No matter how many times people try to kill them with the red truth, I'll reject it. Everyone will be revived for me no matter how many times it takes... I am ANGE, Witch of Resurrection!! In my world, your red truth can't touch me!!!
From Ange... no, from Ange and her family and her friends, several golden streaks shot out at once. Then, the wriggled, combined into one single mass, and transformed into an eagle with two wings.
Bernkastel didn't fight the golden eagle. She couldn't. In this world of Ange's, where even the red truth couldn't hurt anyone, just what sort of attack could have any effect?
Th... this is... can Endless Nine really do this...?! Even the red truth... doesn't work?!! Just what is this golden truth?!! What kind of golden truth could defeat red truth...?!!
A believing heart... This is 'our' consensus. Compared to the truth that we all acknowledge and share, your red truth can't hurt anything.
So long, Bernkastel! This

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 8 - Twilight of the Golden Witch recap part 7

Meanwhile... people in the Golden Land were holding up against the goat swarm... the magical creatures couldn't fight against those who denied magic, but the humans could fight all of the goats with their guns and fighting abilities. Rosa and Maria even made Erika back off... constantly putting bullet holes in Erika's afterimage... Kyrie and Rudolph started shooting at her from a distance too.
Erika had to flee from the guns... and then she was met by Dlanor's longsword.
Then, Erika left the Golden Land and returned to the ships... she ordered the goats to start firing at the golden land with all their might...
The Golden Land was now a burning hell, being torn up.... Beato herself came up to Erika's ship, turned her pipe into a golden sword, and challenged her to a duel.
A duel between the master of the illusion called the Golden Land and the witch who controlled truth.

Gradually, the Golden Land started to fall apart... Beato's friends fell into the sea of nothingness... they looked up one last time... and prayed. They prayed that the master of the Golden Land would leave proof that the Golden Land had indeed existed.
This is our Golden Land!! I am the Endless and Golden Witch Beatrice, and I am here!! We may fall, but we will not be defeated!! You will become living evidence! I'll carve the proof of our existence into your chest!!
The battle between the two voyager witches, who possessed power on an entirely different level, could only be resolved by mutual consent, if one of them lost interest or found some reason for wanting to lose.
Suddenly green eyes of cats formed like a constellation... surrounding Featherine, who approached her miko Bern. These cats were entirely different from the pack of wild cats that served Bernkastel. They were the overlords from many worlds that formed Featherine's personal guard.

Aurora looked at Lambda. the latter bowed hurriedly...
Did you get lost on your way to the party?
Featherine Augustus Aurora... The legendary Great Witch. It is said that she surpassed the level of witches, becoming a Creator, and that, upon reaching this forbidden plane, she was cursed with a deadly ailment. However, in life, she once turned her pet cat into a witch. They say that this second witch wanders the sea of Fragments endlessly, searching for any Fragment that can revive

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 8 - Twilight of the Golden Witch recap part 6

And still, the Rokkenjima cat box hasn't been opened completely... you've just taken a peek at what's inside. So, you must be the lid yourself.
Yeah... This time... I have to... protect everyone...
Then shouldn't you hurry up a bit?
The sound of popcorn being eaten rang out from beyond a rose bush... It was Lambdadelta.
I think you know this already, but Bern is just about to hold a big party for the Book of the Single Truth. She's gathered beings from heaven and hell, from the spirit world and from parallel worlds. If she announces what's in that book in a place like that, it'll all be too late, won't it?
I'm going... I gave Bernkastel that key. It's my responsibility. I'lll go and bring it back.
She gave me this. With it, I can come and go to the City of Books as I please... What an idiot.
...it was a bell with a blue ribbon tied to it.
Lambdadelta. Take me to the City of Books
Are you serious? That place is a den of monsters among monsters. Now that you've lost Bern's protection, you'll be weaker than a fly.
Battler takes the bell away from Ange...
Lambdadelta. I'll go there... After all, I'm an empty creature, unable to exist outside the cat box.
Ange:
No! This is my way of making up for what I did! If I don't do it myself, the future won't change at all, and I won't be able to save the cat box of the future...!
The 2 siblings argued with each other... Lambda only cared about which one would make the story more interesting... then she noticed... both Ange and Battler were holding bells.
From the very beginning, this game has belonged to the two of you.
It's now a fight between Battler+Ange, who want to close the lid on the cat box, and Bern, who wants it opened.
Okay, I'll take you there, but after that, I'm done being anything but a spectator! I just wanna have the best seats, to see what you do, and how Bern makes mincemeat out of you all...!
Erika starts the assault on the game board... Beatrice asks for her demands...
We demand that you hand the entirety of this game board over to the honorable City of Books. Doing so will give this board and its pieces the greatest honor and protection imaginable.
Beato gives her answer...

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 8 - Twilight of the Golden Witch recap part 5

Battler and Beato were guarding the door to the Golden Land... the 2nd wave of goats were approaching in pirate ships... these were probably powerful enough to break down the door to the Golden Land. They're planning to smash the golden land directly. Battler and Beato go inside and tell Shannon and Kanon that they are now the ones in charge of defense.
Lambdadelta pops in, and says that Bern and Ange are in the City of Books. the pirate ships have been delaying their attack because the party hasn't started yet.
The City of Books is a sacred realm under the supervision of the senate. It's protected by a holy barrier. Only a witch of the senate, and witches given special invitations, can enter.
Lion:
How do you know Ange is in the City of Books?
I saw it with my own eyes, of course.
Which means you're qualified to enter this sacred realm, right?
How stupid can you be?! If I were to save Ange, that'd mean crashing the great Aurora's party, get it?! I'd have the whole world as my enemy! And what's in it for me?! Nothing, obviously!
There could be no greater thrill. If you pulled off such a marvelous feat, you would be able to forget your illness for a thousand years, would you not?
She starts getting angry, saying she's just a spectator, and that she'll sit back and watch them all get devoured...
Forgive me. I'm totally lame, aren't I? ...Yeah, if I stood up right now and said 'leave it to me', my popularity would surge and I'd probably make it into the top 3 in the next character popularity contest.
But still, unlike the rest of you, I'm not a character who appears in the story... I can't die. It's like it's midnight, and you're telling me that we're almost at the best part. But tomorrow's Monday, and I've got early cleaning duty at school...! We live in completely different worlds...!!
Battler:
Sorry... it's not fair for us to force you to risk something on your own, not when we haven't yet tried everything we can do.
EVA calls on Ange to tell her the seal has been broken... Ange gets up to leave, says she'll be back in a bit...
EVA:
Are you happy? Now, you'll finally get to learn that secret I've been hiding from you these past 12 years!
The which

Ange's opponent is Beato, who sealed the chapel with a closed room barrier. Meanwhile, Auaurora is writing up a tale to give to Ange, in exchange for her being her miko... Bern is helping her get some motivation...
Ange said she wanted to know what happened that day. No matter how many tales you write distorting the truth, she'll never be satisfied.
No matter how interesting or uninteresting it is, everything you write is an illusion. Ange doesn't want any of that... Haven't you figured that out yet?
The Single Truth is boring... I certainly have aged... The first thing age taught me was that "not knowing" is more precious than "knowing".
Will it make for a better tale if Ange learns the truth, or if she doesn't? To be honest, I don't know... so I've decided to stop writing this tale.
I won't write it. I will merely show it... The tale that Ushiromiya Ange weaves herself.
Perhaps fate has decided that this book's seal is to be broken... Ange will reach the Single Truth, the Single Truth will break the seal on the cat box, and everything will be exposed to the light of day. And so, all of those countless message bottles and fragments made up of delightful imaginings, which have been scattered across the ocean of the internet, will fade away like foam on the sea.
Just then it was revealed that Hachijo had Ange's key in her drawer... hmm...

Beato is killing all of Ange's blue truths with her red... she tries to reason with Ange...
I know what Onii-chan's trying to say...! He's telling me to look to the future and live, instead of being stuck in the past, right?!
In that case, there's no need to keep waiting for my answer. The answer's "no", Golden Witch...! Back in 1986, I was already dead. I've wandered about like a ghost for 12 years since then...! And when Eva oba-san died, I lost my only reason to stick around on this Earth as a ghost! That's why I decided to do one last thing before ending my life!! Is there something wrong with that?
Indeed there is, foolish girl!! So, when you do reach the truth, you plan to die...! In that case, I can't let you have it...!!
Ange. You are young, and you have a long future ahead of you. In fact, you are a

Umineko Chiru Episode 8 - Twilight of the Golden Witch part 4

Back at the halloween party, Battler is awaiting the return of Ange and also Erika's appearance. he wants to see how well Erika does at Bern's game... Bern is trying to hide her smirk when they are talking about Ange...

Ange returns, and then calls out Battler for his tricks. She declares that this game is a battle and that she won't fall for his tricks anymore...
Ange:
There's only one thing I've ever wanted! The truth of Rokkenjima in 1986.
Battler:
The truth is sealed within the cat box... it can't be reached by someone outside the cat box like you.
Yes, this is an illusion. However, I wanted you to feel this fun atmosphere, the harmony within your family... I wanted you to remember the warmth of these family conferences, a warmth you forgot about.
The truth of 1986 doesn't exist. The cat box is empty inside... you're looking for something that isn't there.
Hmph. I won't be tricked anymore. The truth of that day does exist... It was written down by the sole survivor and preserved to this very day!
Ange:
Eva... thank you for giving me one last chance to learn the truth.
Eva:
A...Ange-chan, listen... everything I wrote in that diary is nonsense, so it doesn't...
Ange:
There's no point in trying to deceive me. It's already been proven in red that your diary has the truth of that day written in it!
Beato:
...A...absurd. How could anyone but Battler, the Game Master, use the red truth?!
Lambda:
...... It's Auaurora, isn't it?
Bern:
That's right... The Book of the Single Truth exists in 1998, the world of the future. Who else could confirm the crucial role of confirming its contents with the red truth?
Ange:
... and no matter how hard you try to cover it up in 1986, I can expose it in 1998!! After all, you are the Beatrice of 1986... and I am the Beatrice of 1998!!
A swirl of golden butterflies rose up around Ange... Ange turns into her future self...
I am ANGE Beatrice of 1998, the final Golden Witch!! No witch of the past can defeat a witch of the future!!
You are the Golden and Endless Witch. I'm not! I'm the Witch of Gold and Truth! No illusion can stand in my way!! Yes, this is the end of Onii-chan's boring party! Now it's time for my party to start!! I've readied a

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 8 - Twilight of the Golden Witch recap part 2

Back to Ange... She woke up from being passed out at seeing her dead parents, along with 4 other corpses in the dining room... she goes around and discovers a total of 13 corpses that were murdered.

The next day, Gohda and Kumasawa are talking to the rest of them about when they discovered the 6 corpses... but the other people Ange discovered before weren't dead yet in this scene. It went through each twilight one by one... almost all of them were closed room murders, impossible without someone else on the island who had an extra master key or a way in and out of the closed rooms... It was very short and to the point, with a lot of rules made up about keys and such for simplicity...

I see... it's like another of those quizzes... I have to review all of the purple statements, keeping in mind rules such as... no character can lie except for the culprit/s... a culprit can't die... master keys carried by the servants are the only keys, and nobody but the servant can use their key... other rules making it possible to figure out the culprit from just the information given... first, I have to figure out who is definitely telling the truth, and who definitely died...

*Genji: (died at 1st twilight, according to Kuma, Nanjo and Kanon)
Eva: (died at first twilight, according to George (according to Shannon), and Kuma)
Hideyoshi: (died at first twilight, according to George (according to Shannon), and Kuma)
Rudolph: (died at first twilight, according to Battler (according to Shannon), and Kuma)
Kyrie: (died at first twilight, according to Battler (according to Shannon), and Kuma)
Rosa: (died at first twilight, according to Maria (according to Shannon), and Kuma)
*Krauss: everyone gathered in dining hall - dining hall is closed room - nobody is hiding in dining hall
(died at 2nd twilight, according to Nanjo) (narration: laying sprawled on the floor)
*Nats: we destroyed Genji's master key
(died at 2nd twilight, according to Nanjo) (narration: laying sprawled on the floor)
(all of the above were locked in the mansion after 2nd twilight, according to Jess, Maria, Nanjo

*Jess: 2nd twilight is a closed room - nobody can enter or leave 2nd room until police arrive - 4th all went outside to look for Shannon/Kanon - George couldn't have killed Shannon - Gohda/Kuma died

Cousins and Nanjo couldn't have killed Gohda/Kuma - Nanjo

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 8 - Twilight of the Golden Witch recap part 1

In this version of October 4th and 5th, Ange actually came with the family to the island...
Even Kinzo is still alive in this version... the guests all bring Kinzo halloween treats, in exchange for a present from Kinzo. they do this every year..
This is kinda reminiscent of the beginning of Madoka Rebellion. It's like Ange's perfect reality.

When Ange went to give Kinzo her present, Kinzo suddenly turned from cheery and weird to stern and terrifying. This is how Ange has always seen him. She only remembers Kinzo yelling and being scary...

Ange starts doubting that this whole thing is real, because Kinzo is not like how she remembers him. Battler tries to assures her that this is the real Kinzo, and that her early impression of him was exaggerated by her imagination. She also says that the adults were supposed to be arguing about the inheritance, but now they were all friendly with each other... She learned about all of that after 1986, because of the conspiracies that came up about it... Ange took that for the truth because it fit with her blurry early-age memories...

Ange declares that she doesn't believe this story that Battler created on his game board.
Now I get it, you damn witches. So, you've sent Onii-chan as a final assassin to finish me off.
You're right... This is... my game. So, of course, this is my tale, and I'm the one making it. That's why I'm able to add in "what if" situations, like what would happen if you came to the island too.
Why won't you tell me the truth.
... Because there's something I must get you to understand... something more important than the truth.
Just as Beato's games were made to make Battler believe in witches. Battler's game... was made to help Ange understand something that was more important than the truth.
No. This is a game... I made a wish, hoping to learn the truth of October 4th, 1986. And so, you invited me to this game, saying that you'd show me the truth. And now, you're showing me this strange illusion, trying to make me believe that it's the truth!
Back in the story, Battler introduced young Ange to Beatrice. This Beatrice was very different from the witch Maria told her her about, who had lived for a thousand years and had various servants from the

Umineko Chiru Episode 7 Tea Party

Lion and Ange are suddenly together in a theatre. Claire appears and tells about what happened on October 4th, 1986... Maria read aloud the letter that claimed to be from the Golden Witch Beatrice and challenged the family.
Try and solve the riddle of the epitaph. Otherwise, I will take everything.
The adults all start suspecting one another...
Beato's ceremony has begun... Kihihihihihi
Ange:
In all the games, October 4th happens in pretty much the same way.
She complains that this is just another riddle the witches are forcing them to play through.
Lion realizes that since she has learned about the culprit's heart, and can see through any of her riddles, it is her role to teach Ange about the truth of this tale.

The adults have stopped bickering about the inheritance and started working together to solve the riddle.
Battler hears about Shannon and George going out, and recalls his memories from 6 years ago, when he had a crush on Shannon... George proposes to her, and talks about how she used to like Battler...
Meanwhile, the adults have already solved the epitaph, followed the lion statues, and found the door to the gold.
On the tenth twilight, the journey shall end, and you shall reach the capital where the gold dwells.
Lion explains that all of the siblings had solved the epitaph together before the crimes occurred... Beatrice decided not to commit the crimes if the epitaph was solved. so in this game, the crime will not occur. Beatrice's roulette has already made its decision. This is the end of her game.

In the room with the gold, the adults find Beatrice hiding behind a curtain. she welcomes them with a blank expression...
Is Father behind this?
No. This is my... game.
Beatrice states plainly that if they hadn't solved the epitaph, she would taken all of their wealth... and all of their lives.
I planned to do as I please with everything that exists on this island.
She picked up one of the bullets that were sitting on the table with a bunch of rifles.
If the night ended before you managed to solve the epitaph's riddle, I planned to follow the epitaph and commit 13 murders.
I am prepared... you may do as you will with me.
I planned this game because I was prepared to bet my life.
...then suddenly she walks up to a grandfather clock...
Allow me to explain the device within this clock. For you have gained not just the gold, but the

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 7 - Requiem of the Golden Witch recap part 2

The culprit, a Beatrice-like figure with white hair starts to speak.
Let it be heard. I am one yet many. What I speak is our tale. However, this is a small world, sealed by glass and cork, with no one to hear. None shall lay eyes upon it, and my entire tale shall be sealed away, set adrift in the sea of my heart until it disappears along with the seaweed.
The two love demons are among her as well.
For us... Where and who we are hardly matters!!
Then the culprit tells about the first time she arrived at Rokkenjima in 1976, as a servant from Fukuin house, who was just starting elementary school along with Jessica...

wtf? It isn't Shannon? It shows Shannon there talking to this new servant, and that Shannon looks the same age as the Shannon from 1986?
Oh, so this servant is Lion. She wasn't killed, she was just raised by the Fukuin house and brought to Rokkenjima by Genji (who knew this girl's true origin) to work as a servant, since Natsuhi didn't accept her as a daughter. She was given the nickname Yasu by the other servants (some of which looked a lot like the 7 sisters of purgatory).

Kumasawa talks about those ghost stories again. The seal on the shrine, and how Beatrice has become a ghost, wandering around in search of a body, and how she dwells in the VIP room on the second floor... Yasu also heard about these stories from Kumasawa, and had blamed Beatrice whenever she lost a broom or something.
The witch was playing a prank on her, moving the broom to different places so she couldn't find it.
I know that turning around won't help, since she has no form. I can try to look, but I musn't look with my eyes. Once my eyes tell me there's nothing there, I won't be able to "see" anymore.
I learned that from the director of the Fukuin house. You mus'nt try to see with your eyes... you must see with the eyes of your heart.
The whole world is filled with god's love. In the many blessings of everyday life, one can see god, and angels, and the holy ghost. If you try to look at them with your eyes, you cannot see them, so you won't be able to "see" them. You won't be able to feel them or understand them. With the eyes of the

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 7 - Requiem of the Golden Witch recap part 1

A dream is something drawn in the sand between the coming and receding waves. Something so fragile that it is wiped blank each time the waves draw back.
Battler created a tale only for Beatrice to read, and nobody else... This way, nobody will be able to defile her tale. A certain truth, between the two them. No matter how some witch or theatregoer tries to spin the tale, the golden truth between Battler and Beatrice will remain in tact.

There's some scene with an unknown protaganist maid, who gets fingered as the culprit by some inquisitors of heresy... Then some guy shows up and says they got the wrong culprit. He starts going off about Van Dine's rule #11. It is forbidden for a servant to be the culprit.
That's right, we are inquisitors of heresy. Felling evil witches is our job. However, we must not risk hurting the innocent.
All humans have their own personal truths. Those should only be exposed when they commit crimes. We've been given the right to expose them.
But no one, not even god, has the right to expose the innocent truths of those who have not sinned!!
He says that detectives must not forget to find the motive... the heart... without heart, a detective is just an intellectual rapist. heh...

This guy's name is Will, but that's not what everyone used to call him... Head inquisitor of heresy in SSVD... Wizard-hunting Wright.
So that whole scene was unrelated to the witch's game, and was just to introduce Will.

Later, Will arrived at Beatrice's funeral. to meet with one of the family members. on Beatrice's coffin, there was a book with words printed on the cover:
To my beloved Beatrice. October 5th, 1986
...what th... Krauss introduces himself and... his daughter, Ushiromiya Lion. Now I'm officially confused.
Will is confused by this as well, saying Kraus's child is supposed to be Jessica.
Jessica's my little sister
Will called out...
I'm here. isn't it about time you showed your face?
Bern shows up in front of Will. Lion is able to see her too, but doesn't know who she is. Bern just made the catbox bigger by adding Lion, one of the pieces who has a possibility of appearing in the game.

Bern asked Will to solve the murder of Beatrice. He brings up Van Dine's twenty rules again.
Rule #1. It is forbidden to have a crime without all

Umineko Chiru Episode 6 Tea Party

So.. now the epitaph has been fulfilled. everyone has been revived, lost love has been reunited, and the witch has been put to sleep forever.
Ange: "Now what?"
No matter what Featherine's tale says, in the end Battler and the rest of them never returned from Rokkenjima.
Hachijo reappears, and thanks Ange for reading her tale. Ange asks Hachijo if the Featherine witch that appeared in the tale is her, or if she is really Featherine...
Then some weird dialog between Amakusa some henchmen that are plotting against the Sumadera group... I never really cared about this subplot. Then him and Ange move on to visit Rokkenjima as in ep4...

Umineko Chiru Episode 6 ????

Bern is upset about losing, and now can't find Lambda anywhere...
Yes... miracles don't exist in this world. To create a miracle, you need "an amount of time that can never be reached", a period that is no different from infinity.
When something that appears to be a miracle happens in a shorter span of time than that, it is not a miracle... but due to someone's design.
Bern follows a cat, and then meets Featherine, the one that used to be her master. She tells Bern that she has observed all of Beato's games, as well as Lambda's game and Battler's game, and has formed an answer for all the riddles...

Although the last part of the epitaph's riddle still eludes her. The part about the witch going to sleep forever.
But I have enough of a theory that if I actually went to Rokkenjima and investigated, I should be able to resolve that part as well.
Of course, since there is no single truth, my theory is probably only one of many possibilities.
She wants to go through her answers with Bern, the player... or something like that.
I'm going to be the Reader, right? I have no love, so a few things might be interpreted in an odd way.
Featherine:
I only want to check the answers... I'm not deeply interested in what sort of tale you'll create.
...Featherine makes Bernkastel the game master.
You can create whatever sort of tale you like to satisfy your grudge. However I have one condition... Answer all of the questions I ask for. No hiding, concealment, or tricks.
Bern starts setting up the pieces...
When the seagulls cry, there are no survivors.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 6 - Dawn of the Golden Witch recap

Ange meets up with Hachijo Tohya, a writer who has been creating forgeries of Maria's message in a bottle from Rokkenjima, and claims to know the full truth about it. Ange senses that this is different from what happened in the 4th game... Hachijo presents her newest forgery... "Dawn of the Golden Witch"
Whose piece am I this time?
Hachijo reveals her true form as a witch
In the past, I observed the Fragments through Battler's eyes. I want you to observe the Fragments that Beatrice has woven.
Now that he has succeeded the position of Game Master, Battler is not a suitable observer.
The Witch of Theatergoing, Featherine, just wanted Ange to read this newest bottled message to her. Ange and Featherine are observing this game on a higher plane than Battler, Bern, and Erika.

Battler is now using Beatrice as a piece... just like Sakutaro is a piece in Maria's game board.
That Beato was Battler's piece, and was supposed to be the same Beato.. however, since the real Beato was a lifeless Doll, this Beato took on the personality most desired by their master.

At the end of the first game, Bern mentioned that Beato exists as the incarnation of the rules. Battler intends to recreate the conditions that manifested the original Beato, so that this new doll Beato becomes the true Beatrice.
Battler's sin 6 years ago created Beatrice. Beatrice was his piece.

Featherine's forged stories have the same scent as Beato's, because she reached the truth just like Battler... Anyone who knows the truth can become an Endless Witch.

Featherine then invites the chick Beatrice to read the stories of the golden witch with her and Ange, so that she can become the golden witch that Battler wants her to be.

Beato wanders into the portrait of Beatrice, looking to find herself... she is surrounded in darkness... meets another version of herself with her hair down, and in a different outfit... This is before the portrait appeared. Beatrice owns the place at night. Kinzo is still trying to catch/revive her... she is powerless because of the shrine.
A result without an observer can possess an endless number of ways in which it might have occurred.
When people imagine that it was the result of a witch's prank... it is etched into the fragment as a fact... That's one of the foundations of magic. Decorating... the process. With magic, even a mass-produced stuffed animal

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru - 5 - Tea Parties recap

Umineko Chiru Episode 5 Tea Party

So, the Illusion of the Golden witch has disappeared, and the results of all the previous games painted over with a new truth.

Apparently the 7 sisters of purgatory that serve Beatrice, they are fakes that were created in USA... Kinzo was a sucker who paid big bucks for any fake occult object.

Bern gives Erika the temporary title of "Witch of Truth", and has her take over the sealed Rokenjima, to remove all traces of Beato's Illusion of the Witch. The Voyager witches, Lamdadelta and Bernkastel, travel across the countless glittering futures of possibility, and gobble them up... trying to escape their illness called boredom for as long as they can.

I guess some sliver of Natsuhi's truth still remains in ep5... so Erika now has to use ep6 to totally and completely smash the game board.

Then there's the Tea Party of those who are not human...

Umineko Chiru Episode 5 ????

In this place, the concept of death means nothing except that one has stopped thinking... Battler, pierced by the red wedges of Dlanor's execution... Beato goes up to it and says ".... you .... liar"
He recalls that conversation with Dlanor... Knox's Decalogue, the mystery genre's first line of defense... it is the proof that a mystery is solvable with the hints provided for the reader. Although it's supposed to be the opposite of fantasy, this method seems very similar to a Devil's Proof. In the past, Battler has always faught by using a Devil's Proof to imply an unknown element X. But that is anti-mystery.

Humans often refuse to even try reasoning it out because the lack of clues provided make reasoning impossible... that's what Battler did in the 1st game...
It's all useless
Then Beato sneered at him, asking him if he would repeat that over and over in an endless repetition of moves.
Battler is both anti-fantasy and anti-mystery. The reason he stopped thinking in the first game was because of lack of information... but even if he was given information, he would deny the basis of that info's truth. Beato then gave him what he wanted. Information that couldn't be denied. Red truth.

So... without Knox's Decalogue, Red Truth wouldn't be able to exist?
Though riddles are the only holes witches can live within, she began to give you the red truth, a method by which those riddles could be SOLVED.
Isn't this almost as though... Beato herself is admitting... that she

Bern solves the witch's epitaph, while giving Battler hints...
Behold the sweetfish river running through my beloved hometown.
You who seek the Golden Land, follow its path downstream in search of the key.
As you travel down it, you will see a village.
In that village, look for the shore the two will tell you of.
There sleeps the key to the Golden Land.
On the first twilight, offer the six chosen by the key as sacrifices.
On the second twilight, those who remain shall tear apart the two who are close.
On the third twilight, those who remain shall praise my noble name.
Twilight 4-8: Kill a single character
On the ninth twilight, the witch shall revive, and none shall be left alive.
On the tenth twilight, the journey shall end, and you shall reach the capital where the gold dwells.
The witch will praise the wise, and should bestow four treasures.
One shall be, all the gold from the Golden Land.
One shall be, the resurrection of the souls of all the dead.
One shall be, even the resurrection of the lost love.
One shall be, to put the witch to sleep for all time.
Sleep peacefully, my most beloved witch, Beatrice.
That hometown with the sweetfish river, is probably referring to something that's at least 11 or 13 characters long. First remove 6 characters, then tear apart the 2 characters that are close together, etc...

Natsuhi and Kraus, Beatrice's allies, were getting cornered. They didn't expect
