The moon used to shine brighter than it does now... when the moon kingdom was destroyed, it's shining palace turned into poisonous rubble, including the legendary sword.
Mamoru hypnotizes the arcade worker and takes on a fake persona while trying to lure out Usagi. Usagi knows that something's wrong with him, but stays with him for a while anyways... he then tries to hypnotize her, but it doesn't work and she runs away. Then he hypnotizes Mako instead and finds the senshi's command center..
Tuxedo Mask trashes the other 4 guardians, while Usagi watches in shock.. Luna tells her to fight, and to show she's serious she leaps toward him and gets knocked out.. making Usagi worried for Luna so that she would fight.. just when she's about to attack, Queen Beryl warps in and steals Usagi's silver crystal...

Queen Beryl grabs all 5 of the senshi with her hair and starts draining their energy, while mentioning Metalia's name.. Venus figures out that Metalia is the one who brainwashed Beryl and everyone on earth, and summons the holy sword to cut down her attack. Mercury then figures out that the necklace is what gives Beryl Metalia's power.
Sailor Moon grabs the sword and plunges it directly into Beryl's necklace... "Mamo-chan, please, come back to us!"... the holy sword starts to glow, as well as the silver crystal, responding to Sailor Moon's prayers and boosting her power. She shatters the necklace, and Beryl's body suddenly ages rapidly and turns to dust without Metalia's power... then some words appear on the sword.
"When this sword shines, the legendary silver crystal within the Queen will work as she wishes."
Tuxedo Mask takes the sword and runs into Metalia's portal.. Sailor Moon chases after him, but the other 4 don't make it in, and instead have to face the other 4 dark kingdom enemies. Sailor Moon gets notified that a piece of the silver crystal is within Mamoru's body, and the silver crystal needs to be complete to unleash its full power...
