Episode 46 - Within The Approaching Hurricane!!

Tsukushi mopes around some more.. her friends come over and help her redecorate her apartment, which cheers her up a little... Suddenly Shigeru appears in an Eitoku uniform...

Episode 47 - Exchange Student - Shigeru's Ripple!!

Sakurako declares rivalry against Shigeru, saying it's okay if Makino wins, but she won't lose against Shigeru... Makino sees Rui again, and tries to deny that they are going out when Shigeru pops up... Suddenly, Shizuka returns out of nowhere.

Episode 48 - Study Abroad??

As Tsukushi takes Shigeru away so that Rui and Shizuka can be alone, she overhears her asking him to come back to France...

I can't do anything for you.

Yes you can, you can play your violin.

He suddenly becomes cheerful for the first time in a while...
Tsukushi:

If only I could be as honest as her.

Shigeru figures out what happened and tries to cheer up Tsukushi.

Tsukasa shows up, Tsukushi goes tsundere again, tells him not to interrupt Rui and Shizuka, then insults him and runs away.

After going to listen to Rui's violin one last time... Tsukushi decides to go on a trip to try and change herself. She enters the test for the exchange program. Shigeru tells Tsukasa about this, and tries to get him to stop her, saying he's the only one who can change her mind... Tsukasa gets mad and says Tsukushi will never finish the exam. If she does, he'll run handstand laps around the school. Tsukushi hears this, and accepts the challenge.

Rui goes to try and change Tsukushi's mind... Saying that going away won't guarantee she changes...

Don't run away. Take stock of your feelings.

The night before the exam, Shigeru holds a surprise party for Tsukushi at her apartment, with Tsukushi's friends and 2 of the F4... She can't get any sleep that night. Tsukasa is there to greet her with coffee in the morning. He asks her if she's really going to go away if she passes the exam...

...She's in shock as she finds out she passed the exam.

Episode 49 - The Couple's New Connection

Tsukushi slowly starts to accept the idea of going away, leaving all her friends behind... While thinking about her friends, Tsukasa keeps popping into her head... Suddenly, Tsukasa comes and knocks on her door, asks her not to go...

This test was all part of mother's scheme to get rid of you.

He confesses everything about what went on between him and Shizuka... He admits that he hurt her, and says to Tsukushi "You're the only one for me."
Tsukushi backs out of his kiss... She says even if she did love him, she's not confident enough to live in Domyouji's world.

If you won't come, I'll leap into your world.

Finally, he gets his lips on her...
Tsukushi starts coming to her senses...

Tsukasa.. leaping into my world? ...It won't be easy for him... but I can believe him now.

Episode 50 - We Shouldn't See Each

A woman keeps reminiscing about her life when she was 10... While she heads on a trip to start working as a farmer with her relatives...

This is very ghibli-style slice of life... A very normal/boring story about school romance and family drama...

Sailor Moon Crystal high session 5

ACT 9 - Serenity -Princess-

Tuxedo mask is trying to remember who the crying princess is... he sees Sailor Moon... suddenly he remembers everything about his past life, as Endymion.

Sailor Moon transforms into Princess Serenity... she looks at Mamoru's locket... it was stopped before, now it's moving backwards... Usagi starts regaining her memories... Endymion tried to stop the Earth Kingdom from attacking, and sacrificed himself to save her.

She cries out, confessing her love for Tuxedo Mask.. and her tear transforms into the silver crystal... Its bright glow makes all the flowers around the area bloom...
The silver crystal's power went into Mamoru... then Kunzite and Baryl captured him. The four guardians save Usagi and escape...
Venus explains that she's the real leader of the senshi who guards the princess. She and Artemis knew all along.

They find out that this Beryl person must've broken the seal that the princess made on queen Matalia.
Meanwhile the four dark kingdom generals are looking for the silver crystal that Beryl saw go into Mamoru's body, but it's nowhere to be found... they all seem to recognize Mamoru... Kunzite gets flashbacks of the name "Endymion", then denies it.

Luna suggests they go to the Moon to see if they can find a clue to defeating the Dark Kingdom.

ACT 10 - Moon
"The Moon is getting full again... And my feelings are getting stronger. I want to go to the Moon and find out everything about my previous life."

some moon lore...
"Moon phase fifteen, directly under this park. Clear skies. It's a perfect night to go to the moon."
"The waning moon implies hatred and discord... The new moon is related to death and destruction. The full moon is best if you seek visions into the future."
Usagi notices, this park happens to be the same place that Mamoru promised to trade back their items.

Sailor Teleport... They find the remains of Queen Serenity's prayer room... The Crystal Tower inside it is the core of Moon Castle, a sort lies there, placed in stone.
Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus manage to pull it out.
A hologram of Queen Serenity appears and explains about the legendary sword for protecting the princess...
Usagi used to go visit the Earth all the time because of its greenery and wind...

They all lived long lives on the Moon Kingdom... guarding the Silver Crystal and watching over Earth... but that year, an evil being invaded Earth.. it was evil itself, and it brainwashed the humans

The Wind Rises movie recap

This was okay I guess... some nice feels... very forgettable though.

It had some really good quotes... here's my summary, highlighting all the parts that stood out:

A kid who is obsessed with airplanes has a shared dream with a famous airplane engineer. He wants to grow up to design airplanes too... since then, the famous guy, Caprino has been talking to him in his dreams... reminding him of this quote in another language:

The Wind is rising. We must try to live.

A few years later he meets a girl on a train... she saves his hat after it gets blown away.. Suddenly, a massive earthquake.. the girl's mom breaks her leg, and the guy decides to help them get home.

The village is on fire, and apparently this is part of Caprino's plan which the main guy is helping with... like, the wind needs to rise above Japan for his planes to work or something?

Later, the main guy (Jiro) is now studying in the rebuilt Tokyo. his classmates talk about how America is way ahead of them in bulding planes. Then the guy's sister, Kayo comes to visit him, complaining about how he never comes home... and also talks about that girl he met on the train.

Jiro's fighter plane design failed its test run, so the Japanese goverment desides to order an all-metal bomber plane design from Germany instead... Jiro's still more interested in designing his own plane. Jiro gets sent back to Japan, and then he has another one of his dreams and meets Caproni on a train.

they jump out into a grassy field, and ride a plane... he's taking his whole family/friends out on a joyride on this thing before it gets delivered as a bomber. He says that Italy is poor too, just like Japan, and that inspiration can help catch them up with everyone else.

Which would you choose, a world with pyramids or one without them?
Humanity dreams of flight, but the dream is cursed. Aircraft are destined to become tools of slaughter and destruction.
But still, I chose a world with pyramids in it.

Now he gets asked to design a cruiser plane... while walking around looking for inspiration, he meets the girl from the train again, but he doesn't recognize her. She's painting on a hill, and her umbrella gets blown away by the wind, he catches it for her than walks away... she runs into him again by sheer luck (and because they're staying at the same hotel) and thanks him.. she introduces herself: Nahoko Satomi..

Jiro stans on the edge of a decrepit old balcony reaching for a paper airplane he sees land on the roof... Nahoko sees him just as he almost falls, the plane falls too but then glides back up. Later they start playing with paper airplanes together, throwing it up to her balcony and her trying to catch it before it glides away..

When she accepts his marriage proposal, she tells him that she contracted the disease that killed her mom..

I've loved you since that day you rescued my hat.

I've loved you since the wind brought you to me.

Jiro goes back to work with a new design, and he finds out the japanese police have been going after (kidnapping, or what?) engineers in the company that are no longer useful (or something like that?). The company boss tells Jiro about this corruption, and how Japan is being forced into fighting with the Germans against all the other superpowers. They will keep him safe as long as he's useful.. then he gets a telegram from Satomi... Nahoko has a lung hemmorage.. he immediately gets on a train to Tokyo just to see her for a few minutes, before having to go back to his important job... She then runs away from home to go to visit him while she still can... They get married right away so they can be together.

Jiro goes to test out his final design... just as the test run succeeds, he senses something about Nahoko... he dreams with Caproni again...

None of those planes will return...

Then tells him Nahoko has been here waiting for him...

Darling, you must live. You must live...

Episode 35 - Lovers on The Run & Episode 36 - Tsukasa's Mother's Secret Plan

Mrs. Tsukasa rejects Tsukushi... Domyouji then runs away with her... They go on a yacht alone, and he tries to ask Tsukushi how she feels about him... She still doesn't know how to answer, but her actions speak for themselves... She acts weird and does stuff like intentionally moving in close to warm Domyouji up, accusing him of lewd thoughts, being nervous about the present she made for him... He doesn't eat the cookies, but compliments how they're made..

Mrs. Tsukasa goes to try and bribe the Tsukushi family to stay away from Domyouji... Tsukushi thinks this is ridiculous and starts to get mad.. her mother goes and dumps salt on Mrs. Tsukasa's head.

Episode 37 - It's Showdown Time!!

Tsubaki doesn't want her mom to make Domyoji suffer the same way she was made to suffer... she tries to find out what she's up to... Mrs Tsukasa forces Tsukushi, Tsukasa, and Tsukasa's fiancee Shigeru together in a meeting...

Episode 38 - I Will Tame You!! & Episode 39 - Love Triangle From Hell & Episode 40 - The Turning of Love's Tide & Episode 41 - The Dawning of New Day

Domyouji tried to take Tsukushi's hand and run away from his mother... but he took his fiancee Shigeru's hand instead. This girl didn't know Tsukasa, and thought he was insane for dragging her off like that. When Domyouji realized he grabbed the wrong girl, he left her behind.

Of course, Tsukushi misunderstood this, and became furious... The next day Shigeru visited the school and met Tsukushi again... She thinks Tsukasa is weird, but says she'll fix him up... Then watches as Shigeru goes to hit on him... Unsuccessfully... She doesn't give up, and tries asking Tsukushi for hints on how to win over Tsukasa.

Tsukushi acts mean to her at first, and says their love affair has nothing to do with her... Shigeru apologizes for being a bother and says she's really bad at making friends.. Tsukushi feels bad and agrees to be her friend and help her. Shigeru notices Tsukushi's toy and asks where she got it... It was from Tsukasa when they were in Canada... Tsukushi suddenly remembers all that they've been through together... She still says that she's not interested in him, and agrees to help her.

Episode 27 - Tsukasa Goes to New York!!

Rui asks Tsukushi if it's okay that Tsukasa is leaving.. just like how she helped him when Shizuka was leaving... but Tsukushi's family now has money problems and she's too busy looking for a job to see Tsukasa before he leaves. Rui gives him Tsukushi's walkie talkie and says it's a gift from Tsukushi... He listens to it while he's on the plane... Rui:

Nothing happened between me and Tsukushi that night.

Suddenly, Domyouji immediately wants to go back to Japan... He somehow ends up in Vancouver, and calls Tsukushi and says he'll help her family with their money problems if she comes to see him...

Episode 28 - Tsukushi Goes to Canada!!

Apparently Tsukasa has a villa in Vancouver. the F4 and Tsukushi's classmates tag along to go on a trip there. Tsukushi still acts tsundere toward him and says she's only there for the money... Later, the classmates are jealous after seeing Tsukasa with Tsukushi, and they trick Tsukushi into looking for her friend Yuki out in the blizzard...

Episode 29 - His Body Against Mine

Tsukasa saves Tsukushi and sleeps with her in a cabin to keep her warm... Then back at the villa, she stops him from throwing a pot at her classmates who did this to her... Sakurako is pretty much entirely on Tsukushi's side and is really friendly to her now... Tsukushi and Tsukasa keep staring at each other all the time... Tsukasa tries to confess to her again, but a loud truck passes by as he says it. Tsukushi remains her usual self and says she'll work to pay back Tsukasa when she gets back to Japan.

Episode 30 - Do You Want a Friend?

Okay now this is getting weird.. Tsukushi meets a new guy at Eitoku. She thinks he's weird at first, but then finds out he's just like how she used to be at the beginning of the series.. then it turns he's a model, and he forces her to model with him and says it won't get published.

Episode 31 - Shock!! Horror!! Another Red Card?!

Tsukushi tries to quit being that guy's friend... Tsukasa sees them together, and that guy (Junpei) asks her whether she likes Tsukasa or not...
She can't answer...

My feelings for Tsukasa go beyond simple liking or disliking...

Tsukasa starts beating him up, she yells at him to stop...

Domyouji. When I'm with you I feel like I'm suffocating.
