Ever 17 - VN stoned playthrough comments

This VN started off pretty slow... this kid who lost his memory gets trapped in a deep sea amusement park place with a bunch of other characters, and the majority of the game is him getting to know these characters while searching for ways to escape and trying to survive...

After some bad/neutral endings that don't reveal too much... suddenly the story picked up very quickly and started getting really good, so I was like "I gotta get high for the rest of this"... here's my high thoughts as I played through the last few hours of Ever 17: The Out of Infinity

These notes were very unorganized... you won't be able to get a useful summary from this, it's just a collection just some random thoughts I had and certain quotes that I felt like writing down for whatever reason.



whoa... Kid's totally tripping out over his mirror reflection... I think his memory is starting to come back and conflicting with his current psyche or something.

Sara eating a head of lettuce with ketchup on top... It's like, Sara and Coco are both there, but they don't know each other... Kid and Takeshi each only notice one of them there...

Hearing things... thinks he sees a window with light shining through it... Sees Sara glowing red... sees her hand print on the door... he's like tripping shrooms or something... wait Sara sees the window too? She shows him the mirror? idk what's going on...

Tsugumi's trying to hide something from Kid... "I'm just collecting rings"

whoa... I get it... Takeshi is playing with Coco, but Kid only sees him playing by himself... Kid sees You sleeping ontop of Sara when really You is asleep by herself? That bit with the mirror is still fucked up.

Clone Law? This weird trippy background again...

Was I sinking? Or was the floor trying to swallow me?

The perspective changes to Takeshi... this talk about clones... and which one is the real "You"... getting really philisophical here...

THEORY: The main character is neither Takeshi nor Kid, but the 6th character who couldn't figure out who he was.

Coco throwing glass tears in the water... blames herself for Tsugumi...

Kid's singing to the puppy from Takeshi's perspective, and talking with Sara in a holographic whale room from Kid's perspective...

We were in the cosmos... the whale was alive

 The man in the pendant is from the sun... pendant image only visible under sunlight... trollface

Sara thinks the man in the pendant is her dad... then it cuts to Coco yelling "Daddy!"
Coco's dad is a researcher down below Lemu, and she's a Solarian...

Can't wait to get outside, to the surface...

Was Takeshi also a Solarian? So this was like a space station to him?

Moon sprite shouldering a long blow. The empty fall sky. A single cuckoo calls out... brings a chill to me.

Sara and Coco both singing... Coco just learned this song, Sara already knew it...

800 year old nun... what a trippy story...

You... the archeologist... talking about fairy tales possibly existing... cuts to You from Kid's perspective, arguing against fairy tales existing...

Kid thinking he can travel through time and see the future... traveled back in time to the moment he fell in that pond...

Sara's about to say his name... another voice calls out. "Who are you?"

Kid's perspective: Kid and Sara are twins... You forgot what she was talking about... or... okay wtf is going on?
