The start of season 2... Sakura starts 5th grade, and Kaho Mizuki takes a more prominent role now as Sakura's homeroom teacher... Syaoran is still very suspicious of her, but Sakura trusts her because she's been helping her a lot.
Also Sakura realizes Mizuki is the person she keeps seeing in her dreams.
Kaho predicted the Snow card's appearance, and the town started getting covered in snow... Kero can't sense where the cards are now because of Kaho's magic interfering... This teacher is still so mysterious...
During the fight against the Snow card, Sakura lost the watch she received from Yukito as a gift, and gets really sad... Syaoran sympathizes with her, but then turns salty after Kaho brings the watch back to her.
Episode 37
Sakura and Tomoyo singing karaoke... <3
I'm noticing a slight improvement in the animation quality in this season... or I dunno maybe not. I'm not sure about the mouth movements... too many triangle mouths...
Tomoyo's voice gets stolen by the voice card... Sakura is very sad about it and crying, but Tomoyo she has her calm, happy attitude when she's with Sakura.
Episode 38
A strawberry picking field trip... Sakura's group get locked in a storehouse by the Lock card. Kaho shows up sitting on a tree outside the window and points Sakura towards a hint to help her capture it... This episode is weird it feels like the plot to a puzzle adventure game...
The Lock card sort of works the same way as Shield, except it's specific to locks... Sakura's magic key is its weakness.
Episode 39
Sakura tries to go out and capture the Cloud card while she's sick with a fever. Sakura's mirror card takes her place, and tries asking Touya for some medicine to keep up the facade... Touya is like "You shouldn't take medicine when you're not sick. Sakura's out again isn't she?"
Episode 40
There's a really odd, dreamy atmosphere throughout this whole episode... Sakura and her friend going out into town, and she noticed the tower from her dream... then the dream card appears as a butterfly and makes everyone fall into their own dreams... Tomoyo is dreaming about a bunch of Sakuras... Syaoran dreams about him and Sakura watching a movie...
Sakura told Syaoran about her tower dream, I think he's the first person besides Kero that she told about this... Syaoran sees that her abilities are much greater than they were when they first met... Sakura is the only one who senses something strange about the tower... after she comes of of the elevator, the butterfly gets her next and she dreams about Yukito and Touya... But unlike everyone else, she realized it was a dream, then the dream turns more serious and goes back to her recurring tower dream, the premonition of the upcoming Final Judgement... Sakura learns her new invincible spell, "Zettai Daijoubu"
Syaoran used the time card to capture the Dream card.
