Yohane is doing some ritual in her room... and then suddenly she turns back to normal and becomes Yoshika again. Yohane is like some alternate ego of hers, and she is embarrassed that she acted that way in front of her classmates earlier...
Hanamaru sees her at school, and convinces her to start attending class like normal again, and Yoshika asks her to help prevent her from becoming Yohane... but she breaks out her ritual stuff in class and does it again.
Ruby and Hanamaru are both in the same class as her. Ruby explains to the others that she used to believe she was a fallen angel in middle school, and she still hasn't fully broken the habit. Chika looks at one of the videos Yohane posted online, and says she's really cute, and asks her to become a school idol.
lmao... Riko is so terrified of Chika's dog that she does a crazy jump between two balconies to get away from it.
They try adapting the fallen angel theme to their idol performances, and Dia disapproves... Then Yoshika declines joining them and says she'll just go back to being normal... but Chika and the others still want Yoshika to join as her Yohane persona.. Chika figured out that muse became successful because they never held back their true selves.

Episode 06 - Let's Make a PV
Mari tells Dia that her family is planning to close down this school and combine it with another school. She became the director in order to try and stop this...
Chika is actually excited to here this news, because it means Aqours is now in the same position muse was when they first started... They start making a promo video, going around showing off what there is to do in the town of Uchiura, but they show it to Mari and she says there's nothing really special in this video. Later that night everyone gets together at the beach for an annual celebration of some sort... Riko is new here and she sees this as something special that this town has to offer. Riko's words get Chika fired up again, and she announces to everyone that Aqours will help bring more people to Uranohoshi and prevent it from being closed down... Then they do a spontaneous live show right there, somehow had costumes ready and everything...
Also there was some vague dialog between Dia and Mari, having something to do with Dia's hatred for school idols... She seems to be okay with Ruby being a school idol now, and she's obviously just lying to herself... Chika happens to come across Dia performing by herself in the empty stage, and she tries to get Dia to join, but Ruby stops her. It showed a brief flashback of Dia, Mari, and Kanaan as school idols in the past. I guess something happened then that made Dia change her mind about idols.

Episode 07 - TOKYO
That promo video they did at the lantern party pushed their ranking up to 99. They get invited to a school idol event in Tokyo... Dia gives Ruby her approval to go, and even seems kinda envious. Mari tells Dia that she could stop them any time... Dia is worried about them making the same mistake they did, but Mari thinks that deep down Dia hopes for them to succeed where they failed.
Chika, Ruby, and Hanamaru are all overly excited to go to the big city for their first time, and they dress up in weird eccentric outfits, and Riko just sighs and calls them country girls...
They found the temple stairs where muse used to train. Chika got really inspired as she ran up them... then they encountered a couple of girls singing in front of the temple... They recognize the Aqours members from their promo vid, and act like they are rivals.
They enter the competition as the 2nd performers. A lot of the groups here were in the finals for the previous Love Live... They are all super nervous... then they see the 2 girls they met in front of the temple go onto the stage to perform before them. They are totally confident. These 2 are the members of Saint Snow.

Episode 08 - Isn't it Frustrating?
Saint Snow's performance was amazing... You-chan had to jump Chika out of her daze when it was their turn... It feels kinda weird knowing they're still missing 3 members at a big event like this...
Chika is trying to cheer everybody up and hide her own disappointment after they don't win the contest. In fact, they all saw how much better Saint Snow was than them, and that group didn't even win either...
Yoshika is kinda like a more dark-aligned, less perverted version of Nozomi... she's blaming their failure on demons...
Someone came and gave them the final rankings... Saint Snow was 9th... Aqours was 30th out of 30, with 0 votes... Saint Snow comes and complements them on their performance, then says they should give up at Love Live..
Even after all that, Chika stays optimistic and says she's glad that they tried their best and were able to attend this contest at all... says it was their best performance yet... Chika seems to be the only one feeling this way though...
Ruby cries when her sister shows up, in front of all the people that are there to congratulate them... Dia gives them the math reasons as to why Love Live has gotten much bigger and more serious since muse and that other group were in it... She tells them about how her, Mari, and Kanaan already tried to save the school this way 2 years ago. Her group got invited to Tokyo too... but they weren't able to sing when they went on stage.
Although Mari was the one who was most against joining at the beginning, Kanan is now the one who wants to give up more than anyone else... Dia is acting just like Chika, trying to stay positive, and Mari wants them to keep trying too.
The others are all wondering how Chika feels, but she keeps putting on this fake optimism... that night, Chika gets the same idea Riko had before and tries jumping into the ocean in order to find inspiration... Riko comes and talks to her.

I didn't see anything. So that's way I have to keep going. I want to know what's up ahead. Finally, Chika lets out how she really feels, and Riko and everyone else are relieved that she feels the same way as them...
