Wow, this plot takes a turn here...
They are now hiding out in a hotel... Shinkuro is telling Benika he has doubts about being able to do this job anymore, and also tells her that he learned that Murasaki might not even be a Kouhouin child...
Benika tells him about how the Kouhouins are a family that only breeds amongst themselves... The girls in the family are forced to live in the inner sanctuary, isolated from the outside world, until they become old enough to breed... and even after that they are still forced to live in the inner sanctuary until they die... The males of the family breed with their sisters in the inner sanctuary, then they marry a woman from outside the family to pretend that woman is their child's mother...
So... the woman that died in front of Murasaki... was that her real mother or her stepmother?
Shinkuro ends up convincing himself that he'll protect Murasaki no matter what... He then takes her back to the apartment so she can say goodbye to their neighbors and spend time with them one last time... Later, Shinkuro tells Murasaki about how his parents got killed by terrorists, and because of that he made himself into a monster.. Murasaki has incredible wisdom here, and tells Shinkuro that they are both in the same boat, and that the dead won't come back no matter how much you cry...
As expected, Murasaki's big brother comes and beats up Shinkuro, and forces Murasaki to tell Shinkuro that she must go back to the inner sanctuary, but she obviously doesn't...

Episode 10 - Accustomed Fear
Not much happens in this episode... Benika's subordinate consoles Shinkuro, and tells him that she too once failed one of Benika's job and the guy she was guarding got killed... At least Murasaki is still alive.
Murasaki's dad wants to wait until spring before moving Murasaki back to the inner sanctuary, but the older guy is having none of it.
Shinkuro convinces himself that he failed this job and he just has to move on and focus on other jobs... but his friends at school and his neighbors both think it's unlike him to quit like this... Finally he changes his mind and calls Benika over... Benika tells him that the job was only to allow Murasaki to see the outside world and fall in love with someone, and that job was successful... but Shinkuro still wants to protect her... he convinces Benika to help him get to the Kouhouin mansion.

Episode 11 - I Think
I guess that woman that died WAS Murasaki's real mother... The Kouhouin son is talking to his step-mom about improving the inner sanctuary so that it's more fun and so the Kouhouin women will be less likely to want to leave...
Benika shows Shinkuro the secret boat route she used to get in and out of the mansion... When they get to the inner yard, they are greeted by a bunch of guards, and Yayoi (Benika's subordinate) stays to take care of them while the other two fight their way into the inner sanctuary.
When they get to where Murasaki is, the Kouhouin son is already there. Murasaki now has a cold, distant voice and is telling them to leave...
Yayoi gets defeated by Benika's rival... that woman then storms the inner sanctuary looking for Benika... She doesn't care that the maid is telling her she's not allowed in there... The maid runs up to try to stop her, but she gets killed... Seeing this maid get killed unleashes Shinkuro's sword arm, which causes him great pain... The brother runs away carrying Murasaki, and Shinkuro can see the fear in her eyes... He knows she doesn't really want to stay here...
Benika and Shinkuro make it back outside to a safe zone... That maid was the one who allowed Benika to take Murasaki outside in the first place... Shinkuro wants to keep trying, but Benika says they might have to give up for now in order to save Yayoi.

Episode 12 - I Am
Shinkuro bails on Benika in order to go back to Murasaki... Yayoi somehow regains consciousness quickly and now her and Benika are driving around looking for him... Then they get attacked by Lin (Benika's rival) who can somehow kick a moving car without getting hurt...
Shinkuro sneaks through the mansion and finds his way to the inner sanctuary.. then he meets Murasaki's dad... He accuses him of murdering Murasaki's mom...
Shinkuro starts using the techniques he learned from his girlfriend's family to fight the Kouhouin son... Since the son only knows Benika's fighting style, he is caught off guard... Finally, Shinkuro, Benika, and Yayoi have taken care of all opposition, and Shinkuro can now get a proper answer from Murasaki... She tells him she wants to leave this place.
The dad and step-mom come in, and try to convince Murasaki to stay... Murasaki argues with them, says that her mother lived as a Kouhouin woman and died because of it...
He explains to Murasaki that he regrets getting this thing added to his arm... He tries to avoid using it, but sometimes it just comes out and he can't help it... Murasaki says that he is just like her... Both of them are fighting to become stronger... She thought Shinkuro was way ahead of her, but they are both in the same place...
Shinkuro and Murasaki have a farewell moment... Later, during the credits, Murasaki is talking to her dad about what she saw out in the city... and she asks him to tell her about the times when her mother laughed and had fun instead of crying...
Murasaki narrates that she forgot to ask Shinkuro one thing... "Shinkuro... do you love me?"
Shinkuro sneaks through the mansion and finds his way to the inner sanctuary.. then he meets Murasaki's dad... He accuses him of murdering Murasaki's mom...
Murasaki said she didn't want to become like her mother.The dad is surprised by what he's hearing... Then suddenly, two cars bust into the inner sanctuary... Benika rams Lin's car out of control and it smashes through the wall into the pond outside... Benika gets out and helps Shinkuro.. Yayoi is somehow well enough now to get up and face Lin.

Please forget about the Inner Sanctuary. I do not wish to stay in a place that ignores someone when they speak of their sadness.She says she will fulfill her role as a Kouhouin, but without the inner sanctuary... Shinkuro agrees, and helps convince the dad to let Murasaki have her way... The dad remembers Murasaki's mom and seems to be convinced that it's best for Murasaki to not follow the same path as her... but Murasaki's brother is not convinced... He runs up to Benika and stabs her... Shinkuro's sword arm activates and he goes crazy and nearly kills that guy... Benika has to grab him to stop him... The Kouhouin dad recognizes that sword arm as a Hozouki family thing used to make a person into a killing machine...

That was a pretty good ending.. Much more realistic and compromising than what I was expecting...
