it's just that... it's like the manga/smc story is like... so deep my stoned mind can barely contain it...
the energy given off by this dark foreign rock distorted the space around earth, and siphoned off energy from the planet, and people begun to vanish due to it...
the silver crystal could save them from this, but the only one who is able to use it, Neo Queen Serenity, is unconscious... so wait, that little silver crystal that Small Lady stole is the source of it, or just part of that whole palace? at the very least it's the part that Usagi always kept with her...
this rock came from the planet Nemesis, which was heading towards earth... this is like some Shadow Raiders beast planet shit...
oh and there's this detail I forgot... long ago the earth sent one of its criminals to this planet and left that planet alone, unchecked for centuries... could that be Prince Dimande? or maybe all of those human enemies?
"Then Nemesis was hijacked by the Black Moon"
That's obviously wiseman... and Endymion links that black crystal to this Black Moon group who attacked and committed mass murder...
"That monument is the Malefic Black Crystal, Artemis!"
even the small pieces of that crystal that were used by the sisters were extremely powerful...
"They have also started using that black crystal to invade the past."
Sailor Moon almost faints from learning all of this and sensing it has her real future... suddenly her body starts vanishing... same with Tuxedo Mask...
"There cannot be multiples of a single person in the same time and space..."
he looks to Sailor Moon and the Queen... "And on top of being in the same time, you're really close together, so it's causing a strain."
but Sailor Moon and Venus refuse to leave until they can save their friends from Nemesis...
Tuxedo Mask assures Endymion that he'll protect Small Lady...
next he explains about why Sailor Pluto can't help them... she has a different origin and mission than the Princess and her guardians... She is descended from Chronos, the god that controls time. "The beautiful, solitary guardian at of the door at a space between times."
"Time is the Last Domain that must not be violated."
King Endymion breaks that violation and asks Pluto to help Sailor Moon and give her the space-time key...
"Pray to this key and you'll warp to where Sailor Pluto is."
so the team just gained the power of time control... and can now fight the Black Moon on equal terms.
The Black Moon saga is the first one where the solar system is facing an emergency big enough that the outer senshi have to get involved...
That night, Chibiusa goes back to Pluto and escapes back into the future crystal palace to see how her mom was doing...
Prince Demande is staring at a hologram of Neo Queen Serenity, when Rubeus and Esmaraude come to argue about who to send after her. Esmaraude manages to grab Small Lady on her way back to Pluto I guess?

Sailor Moon comes to save her at that point. she gets weirdly annoyed when Tuxedo Mask assists and runs up to catch her...
Sailor Moon tries her attack, but it doesn't work in this timeline... THAT's why Tuxedo Mask said HE would protect her, instead of both of them like he'd usually say.
Tuxedo Mask manages to get caught too... but with the help of his earthly connection to his future self, he can manage to fight her off with Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber...
his secret power really, seems to be that he can draw power from his fellow earthlings even across time... he secretly controls the time door by being able to order Sailor Pluto around... this is his bloodline's as earth gods or something I dunno...
Sailor Moon finally comes to the realization she fucked up by attacking Esmaraude... "I can't defeat the Black Moon if I have no power."

Their "rebirth of history" plan will wipe out all the earthlings from the past to destroy the invincible crystal tokyo of their time...

Demande remembers when he met the queen, the secretive goddess who hides from everyone, as she tried to save Small Lady... "Her eyes don't think me as human, they only want to eliminate me."

Demande manages to move in and kiss Usagi... she desperately tries to transform but to no avail... Demande declares that the power of this Black Crystal Palace they are in is enough to render even the Silver Crystal useless...
Meanwhile, Venus is with the two Tuxedo Masks... trying to come up with a plan despite not having Sailor Moon there to help her anymore.
Luna comes up with something... says that Chibiusa should be able to use the Legendary Silver Crystal... but the king says she has no power... "Despite how she looks, she's 900 years old...
On day, she suddenly stopped growing. She has no power, nor can she transform."
then he adds... "No, but her awakening will definitely come soon. She has a mission to protect this planet, after all."
more backstory time...
"King, how long has the battle with the Black Moon been going on for? Have they been targeting the Earth for a long time?"
"There was one time, some centuries ago... Crystal Tokyo was such a peaceful place. But a leader appeared and brought crime and murder with him. The insane ruler, Phantom. Neo Queen Serenity had quietly watched over Crystal Tokyo until then, and she took a stand just that one time. He was captured and sent to Nemesis. Afterward, that planet was blocked off."
so I'm pretty sure Demande gets his third eye possession power from this Phantom... he just thinks he's getting it from Nemesis or something...
and then just when they thought peace had returned, rebel villains by the name of Black Moon appeared. They said they wanted to kill the people of the Moon Kingdom.
"Are the Black Moon descendants of the Phantom?"
"I dunno, but whoever they are, I won't let them do this anymore."
Meanwhile, Sailor Moon feels a lot like how Chibiusa felt all through this season... She's crying to herself... wondering why her mom's advice seemed to be failing her now...
she realizes that she was weakened by how she was feeling whenever Momoru was affectionate to Chibiusa...
"I forgot my trusting heart."

last episode Sailor Moon was thinking that Tuxedo Mask was leaving her out... but actually it was Sailor Moon who didn't speak up to add her support along with his...
then she remembers Chibiusa's words...
"Please, Sailor Moon, save the Crystal Tokyo of the 30th century!"
Sailor Moon snaps out of her depression so she can regain focus on her mission... she calls out Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter... the 3 of them manage to wake up just then.
(the 3 of them look like the triforce goddesses for a while there when they are attempting to transform...)
pretty soon the black crystal's energy starts getting to them, and they call out Sailor Moon's name before fainting...
meanwhile, Chibiusa is with her mom... thinking about Sailor Moon who is her only hope of saving her... "She's unreliable, a crybaby, and always gets yelled at by everyone... Just like me."
"Sailor Moon has never lost to anyone. Because she has a strong heart, wonderful allies, and unbeatable power."
Chibiusa wasn't able to grow this whole time, because her classmates always ridiculed her and prevented her from awakening to her true role as Princess...
"Small Lady... the queen gave you that name because she wanted you to become a Lovely Lady."
she recalls when she smashed open the Silver Crystal's last outer walls to where the original-sized silver crystal was, and gained possession of it.
Then after the queen ran out to look for Small Lady, she ran outside too and saw her mom get encased in crystal... "It's all my fault."
she remembers how she went down that forbidden corridor in the palace to find that door... and met Pluto... I think it was her P-ball that lead her there...
"The only ones who can come here are members of the Silver Millenium family."... Pluto doesn't chase her away and instead bows to her.
Pluto taught Small Lady the spell "Abracadabra"
oh gosh, she reminds me so much of Vergilia...
Small Lady finally met a friend who believes in her besides her parents...
she goes back to Pluto, and sees her talking to her dad... she's shocked at how much happier Pluto looks now that she has more people to talk to... she leaves her key behind and runs away... Pluto finds it and panics... rightfully so...
"I've gone really far... I wonder where I am. It's dark and cold. It's not like the space-time interval I usually go through..."
her P ball starts buzzing its danger sound...
this is so intense... She realizes she lost her key and can't go back... Wiseman/Phantom appears before her...
"Your dark heart fades in and out of view. Unless you bid your previous world farewell, you could not have come to the far edge of this forsaken place."
"I'm what you've been seeking. Someone who truly needs you."
as he talks to Small Lady... a black moon symbol starts to appear on her forehead... turning her into Black Lady...

The cats are with Venus in a library, using some plot watching device to find out more about their enemy...

The current Tuxedo Mask runs off without a key to go after Chibiusa...
Meanwhile Usagi is still holding on... even this black palace's power isn't enough to stop her completely. but still she feels completely lost and disoriented in this place...
"Just a short walk, and I feel like I'm barely alive."
she eavesdrops on Rubeus and that other guy to find out where her friends are... but Demande shows up behind her. She hears Saphir expressing doubt over Demande's faith in Wiseman... Rubeus adds that maybe they are just his pawns..
As Tuxedo Mask heads out to save both Chibiusa and Usagi, and her resistance to Demande gets boosted by a flash of lightning...
Saphir talks about how creating these droid monsters takes up all of his energy... Usagi finds him, at this place... the center of Nemesis, the Malefic Black Crystal reactor.
"On this enclosed planet, the reactor is the only place that opens to the outside."
hmm, she hasn't found her friends but found some very useful info.
so this is the time portal they've been using to carry out their plan...
"But my brother doesn't know how dangerous the planet is. Though the system is unclear, we accelerate the planet's fusion reactions by force. I won't be surprised when the planet starts to go berserk."

Black Lady is Wiseman's assistant, and only appears in silhouettes at this point...
Sailor Moon manages to transform, even on this planet where the Malefic Black Crystal controls everything...
she senses her friends, puts her hand to the ground to find the Chamber of Darkness where they are held...
her Silver Crystal's light penetrates the ground, and gives the 3 senshi the power to transform...
oh shit, Black Moon fucked up now... by letting 4 of the Sailor Guardians and the Silver Crystal remain in their hideout unharmed, they've already lost...
Demande summons Wiseman to help give him more power to fight the 4 of them... Wiseman brought Black Lady along... he has his own Silver Crystal in his possession now... "It overcame time and space, ignored the negative energy of the Malefic Black Crystal, and was able to unleash its power here."
"It's a fearsome power... That's why everyone chases after it, causing wars and disasters."
suddenly, the Queen starts talking through Sailor Moon's body...
"Open your eyes. The Legendary Silver Crystal defends peace. It's something that brings love and tranquility. If you hadn't accepted that warped knowledge, and if you hadn't been manipulated by evil, there would have been no war. Everyone could've lived in peace! Open your eyes. You're using the Malefic Black Crystal the wrong way!"
Demande: "No, love and tranquility are illusions. Uncertainty and hatred were born because of the Legendary Silver Crystal."
By now it's obvious Wiseman is using his brainwashing powers to make Demande hate the Silver Crystal... just like he's using on Small Lady...
By now, Rubeus and Saphir have both wised up to Wiseman, and are getting out of there because the power of the silver crystal clashing with the black crystal reactor is too much...
Sailor Moon manages to barely break them out of Demande's death stare... Neo Queen Serenity and Sailor Moon combine their strengths to call on Sailor Pluto to get them out of there...
"To think that Sailor Moon could escape from this planet. What a fearsome power. But... *squeels*... I'm sure you'll come right back to me..."
he now has Tuxedo Mask in his sights...
The Sailor Guardians are celebrating that they're all back together... Sailor Moon says it was all thanks to Neo Queen Serenity, but King Endymion reminds Sailor Moon of her importance... It was her power that reached beyond time and space, and unleashed the Legendary Silver Crystal of the past.
It isn't long before Sailor Moon asks where Tuxedo Mask and Chibiusa are... Pluto says they've both left without a key to be able to return...
