Mikan runs into Natsume on her way to the combination class. Narumi explained the 4 (5) different alice ability types to her, and that she was in the good-for-nothing "Special" class... only Mikan called it the "good-for-nothing" class though. She heared from the mind reader that Natsume is in the "Dangerous" ability class...
Natsume grabs her and covers her mouth while hiding behind the bushes... he's hiding from this older masked guy... then some middle school students show up, they hate Natsume because they don't like that a dangerous guy like him is one of the privileged "principal students".. they mention that it's because he's Persona's favorite that he gets special treatment. Natsume gets mad and threatens to burn these guys if they tell Persona where he is... then one of them grabs Mikan's hair to threaten Natsume.
Then she meets Tsubasa, a middle school guy in the special class. He gets back at the bullies with his shadow manipulation alice, and then he introduces her to the rest of the special class who are mostly older students. They are all very friendly and hold a big celebration for Mikan joining them. Their teacher is a weirdo who frequently "trips" on his time travel powers, and the few times Mikan met him already, he vanished before he could explain who he is. This red haired girl, who I guess is Tsubasa's girlfriend? has a doppleganger ability.

Episode 7 - I Won't Lose the Alice Dodgeball
Mikan introduces the few friends she has in class B to Tsubasa, who happens to be friends with the teddy bear from the forest.
Mikan challenges the skippers in her class to a dodgeball game. If they lose, they have to stop skipping class.. if she loses, she has to do whatever they say.. wow that's some terrible terms... and also Natsume adds that they'll use this special dodgeball with an Alice emblem on it... Iinchou explains that this ball gains the ability of whoever threw it.. Mikan has to buy Hotaru's time to get her to join her dodgeball team... and again Hotaru threatens Luca to help too with his tori pictures. they also have the tori and the bear join their team.
Mikan can nullify the ball's powers, and Hotaru's technology easy catches the ball every time and shoots it back in a gun, so they are winning at first, but Natsume's powers are enough to take out the rest of Mikan's team. It comes down to just Mikan vs Natsume, and Natsume wins without using his alice.
Natsume gets angry at Mikan for still smiling even after she lost... she says that in reality she won, because she got even Natsume really into this game and got him to have fun.

Episode 8 - I Want To See Grandpa
Mikan is sad because it's been a week since she ran away and she hasn't received any replies from her grandpa... everyone gets letters from their relatives except her... she asks the divination girl, and she says her grandpa never received Mikan's letters... Hotaru says that she can at least show Mikan how her grandpa is doing, by using a machine to look inside the divinator girl's mind.
Natsume comes by and tells Mikan that she's a fool for trusting Narumi to deliver her letters... Hotaru helps Mikan spy on Narumi, and finds out that the higher ups have convinced him to keep Mikan's letters in a drawer.. For some reason the academy doesn't trust people with the nullification alice. Whe goes into his office and cries, gets in trouble... Luca sneaks into Mikan's room and Mikan gets him to help her see her Grandpa who is sick because of her... an owl drops her outside the electric barrier.. she's about to get kidnapped by some guys when Narumi comes and rescues her... she isn't mad at Narumi anymore since he took a bullet for her.

Episode 9 - I Love You, Hotaru
that robo-Mikan from before has been upgraded now. The old one was just a prototype, and this new one acts exactly like Mikan, and follows her around all episode, doing almost all the same things she's doing.
Hotaru receives praise from the principal for her inventions, and gets closer to the honor student award, but then some rival high school student comes in and says he should get it instead...
Mikan-bot/Amanatsu says she's sad that Hotaru always sees her as a hindrance to her work... and she gets mad at her whenever she tries helping without being asked... So now both Mikan and Amanatsu are trying to help Hotaru out and being a hindrance to her... Mikan gets mad, but Amanatsu tells her that Hotaru only wants to do her best at getting this award because it's her dream to build a perfect Mikan robot that can cheer anybody up the way the real Mikan does...
That rival guy is a huge jerk, and is an even bigger hindrance towards Hotaru when he bombs her laboratory... Mikan then gets an idea to help Hotaru out for real this time... Hotaru is late in building her robot for hte match, so Mikan comes in disguised as Hotaru instead, and uses Amanatsu her fighter robot... She does okay at first, but then starts getting beaten up. Hotaru arrives and watches this.. then Mikan notices the rival is using a remote control for his robot, which is against the rules. And also Amanatsu blows all the smoke away, and it's revealed that the rival was using 4 copies of his robot in the match.
That jerk rival then tries to shoot a giant cannonball which would've killed Mikan, if Amanatsu didn't jump in front to stop it.
