Episodes 1-3
- Matoi Ryuuko... a girl with half a scissor as a weapon, goes around picking fights with people...
- starts going to some strange academy, where people wear "Ultima Uniforms" of 3 different strength classes...
- after running away from a fight with the student council president, a guy leads her into a dungeon, where a talking sailor uniform attacks her and makes her put it on. O_o
- the school's principal/board admits that the student council president is the true ruler of the academy... they capture Ryuuko's new friend, Mako
- Ryuuko's new sailor suit... she named Senketsu... is a godrobe... a level above ultima weapon, when it feeds on her blood.
- ... so even though Satsuki, the student council president isn't wearing an ultima uniform... she is on equal footing with Ryuuko, because her sword cuts through even a godrobe...
- Satsuki herself is wearing a godrobe, maybe? her dress... Junketsu... purity
- ... in order to master her godrobe... Ryuuko needs to get naked... make Senketsu part of her skin... that's what it means to master wearing it
- after their battle comes to a standstill...

Episode 4
Dawn of a Miserable Morning- Ryuuko is almost late for school on no-late day... Mako drags her out in her pajamas, leaving Senketsu to be washed and ironed by Mako's mom
this is absolutely hilarious and brilliant
Episodes 5-6
- some guy with a mohawk, who hates godrobes, wants to get Ryuuko naked... part of some anti-uniform force. he shoots needles that sever the connection between life fibers and the human body.
- only Ryuuko can hear her godrobe's voice... Mako's family just thinks she's strange, talking to her uniform all the time.
- mohawk guy thinks godrobes can't talk, and don't care for humans... Senketsu proves him wrong, warning mohawk guy not to lay a finger on Ryuuko...
- the leader of the music club, watching Ryuuko and mohawk guy's battle in order to study how she fights...
- Ryuuko lost to one of the four devas... but that guy had to blind himself and heighten his senses in order to defeat her...
- only Ryuuko can hear her godrobe's voice... Mako's family just thinks she's strange, talking to her uniform all the time.
- mohawk guy thinks godrobes can't talk, and don't care for humans... Senketsu proves him wrong, warning mohawk guy not to lay a finger on Ryuuko...

Episodes 7-12
- since all the clubs are challenging Ryuuko to fights anyway, Ryuuko decides to start her own club, the Fight Club... makes Mako the club president...
- They battle all the other clubs and go up through the rankings, and Mako's family starts getting to live more luxurious lifestyles, eventually becoming like rich people.
- Ryuuko doesn't like it, since the family is always busy now that they're rich... so she quits the fight club, right when their about to challenge the 4 devas...
- Satsuki comes up and gives Mako her 2 star ultima uniform. offers to give her a 3-star uniform if she can defeat Ryuuko.
- Ryuuko defeats 3 of the 4 devas, and just when she's about to fight the one that beat her the last time, another girl pops up in between them... Harime Nui... she defeats the blind guy without even trying
- Nui reveals the other half of Ryuuko's sword scissor... and claims she is the one who killed Ryuuko's father
- she gets Ryuuko so boiled up, that Senketsu goes berserk and turns her into a monster. just when Satsuki is about to kill Ryuuko to put her out of her misery, Mako jumps in and slaps some sense into her.

- Nui is bullying Ryuuko, against Satsuki's orders... she tears Ryuuko's godrobe apart after tricking her into putting it back on to save someone.
- Satsuki and her generals all take pieces of Ryuuko's godrobe, and then lead an assault against Osaka, the academy that is ruled by money, instead of Honouji which is ruled by fear.
- Meanwhile, Ryuuko goes to hunt down all the pieces of Senketsu... Satsuki is holding the last piece, she doesn't hold back and uses her godrobe against Ryuuko... just then, the Nudist Beach rebels come to Ryuuko's aid. Their only goal is to resist the control of the Life Fibers that Satsuki's group uses.
- the entire point of this assault was to smoke out the rebels
- Ryuuko puts on her godrobe while the glove is still missing, uses the few seconds before her hand is destroyed to get the glove back
- Satsuki and her generals all take pieces of Ryuuko's godrobe, and then lead an assault against Osaka, the academy that is ruled by money, instead of Honouji which is ruled by fear.

- they explain that clothes/life fibres caused homo sapiens to evolve into humans... her father created Senketsu to destroy the life fibers
- meanwhile, Satsuki takes a bath with her mother to recover from using a godrobe too much.. then she shows her the room where the original life fibre is stored. an alien life form that came down to earth... humans were fated to become servants of clothes. her organization, COVERS, intends to cover the planet in clothes.
- Ryuuko doesn't like that Senketsu was created just to battle and kill his brethren... she refuses to fight for the sake of humanity.
Mohawk guy:

Let me tell you two useful pieces of information. One: There's no reason for a Godrobe that doesn't fight to exist. Two: I won't hesitate to despose of any such Godrobes.Ryuuko:
You'll have to do it over my dead body.- then after hearing about Kiryouin's plans to sacrifice everyone to the life fibres, she changed her mind
