Card Captor Sakura high session 11 (ending)

Episode 68
Sakura, the Past, and Clow Reed

The first part of this episode... I don't remember this part at all. Sakura uses the Snow card to take care of the rampaging snowmen...

Sakura wonders what will happen when all the Clow Cards are transformed... she decides to use the Return card to visit Clow Reed in the past.

Clow answers Sakura's questions while being really chill and doing stuff like using the Flower card to make the sakura tree bloom...

I am the same as a falling leaf that feels the changing of the seasons...

While she's there, Sakura realizes Clow Reed's house is the same house that Eriol lives in (she was there a couple episodes ago).

Episode 69
Sakura Meets Clow Reed

Eriol reveals himself as the culprit using Clow's magic... he blocks out the Sun and Moon, this causes everyone except for Sakura and Syaoran to fall asleep... and if Sakura doesn't figure out how to undo the spell by dawn, everyone will remain asleep forever.

Kerberos and Yue haven't fallen asleep though... they battle with Spinel Sun and Ruby Moon, while Sakura battles Eriol... Syaoran takes care of the passed out Tomoyo, and Sakura uses Shield to protect them from Eriol's attack...

Syaoran helps Sakura with the battle after he puts Tomoyo down somewhere safe... his spells aren't very useful... Sakura manages to transform the remaining 8 cards... except for Light and Dark.

This is getting epic... Sakura absorbs Kerberos and Yue into her staff to power it up...and continues trying to transform the last 2 cards.

Zettai... Daijoubu...

Light and Dark are now struggling to resist Sakura's magic... Syaoran steps in and helps... tells Sakura he believes in her... With Syaoran's help she transforms the last 2 cards and dispel's Eriol's curse... Eriol has fled already... Syaoran finally confesses his love for Sakura...

Episode 70
Sakura and Her True Feelings

This is too cute... Sakura is totally flustered because of Syaoran's confession, and she spends her next few days in a daze... Syaoran just waits patiently for her answer, but she doesn't know what the answer is...

Later, everyone decides to visit Eriol's house to get an explanation out of him.

At Sakura's level, it's dangerous to use such powerful magic without a strong desire to make use of it.

Clow Reed knew that his successor would require the aid of a fake nemesis that would give her a need to transform the cards out of her own desire.

Kaho shows up suddenly... that explains why Eriol was working at the shrine... they know each other. Eriol gave Kaho that bell that was used to aid Sakura in the final judgement...

But he says a couple things happened that weren't expected by Clow Reed's plan... Clow expected Sakura to be in love with Yukito... but instead Sakura's brother loved Yukito, and Syaoran fell in love with Sakura... jeez Clow and Eriol are way too interested in Sakura's love life for some reason. (and yet here I am writing paragraphs about it lol)

Sakura wonders why she feels this way... she isn't able to be her cheerful self anymore... this is very different from her feelings for Yukito... Sakura creates a new nameless card out of her unknown feelings for Syaoran...

When Syaoran has to leave for Hong Kong, Sakura still doesn't know what to say... then she asks him if she can have that bear...

movie sequel hook lol...

To make the ending a bit more cheerful, I watched the Tomoyo Card Captor Sakura video specials after finishing the series. These are so awesome and hilarious. I like the part where Yamazaki opens his eyes and tells the truth for the first time ever.
