Kagari struggling in her studies... Ursula gets reminded by Kagari of what her childhood dreams were like...
The higher up teachers tell Kagari that she'll be expelled if she doesn't pass the next exam.
lmao... One of Kagari's teachers is a fish, and she only just now found out that the fish is the teacher, she always just assumed it was a study period where everyone just stared at a goldfish.
The only thing keeping her motivated is that she wants to prove Diana's fortune telling wrong.
She almost kills professor Pisces, when she tries to bring her some fresh water to get on her good side... and then tries to rescue her and drops her down the drain... Lotte and Sucy and Kagari turn into fish and look around in the sewers to find the prof... but Kagari's spell doesn't work as well and turns her into a mermaid, still wearing the witch uniform and everything.
Meanwhile, Ursula makes a fake prof Pisces while the exam is going on... Kagari gets distracted by a fish that says her family is missing, and she goes out of her way to save the family (and also saved Pisces) from a poacher... Pisces gave Kagari a passing grade because of how she used what she learned in class and put it into practice by saving her... but Kagari still gets in trouble because she exposed herself as a mermaid in front of someone.
Ursula defends Kagari, saying it's more fair to compare Kagari now to how she was at first, rather than compare her to the other students... She even scolds the one bitch for not appreciating how Kagari always puts the needs of others before her grades and personal gain.
And also it turns out that the school IS benefiting from Kagari's actions, as the people realized that mermaid saved the last of an endangered species of fish.

Episode 08 - Akko's Adventure in Sucy
Sucy drinks some mushroom elixer to try to become more powerful, but it turns her into sleeping beauty and makes the room fill up with mushrooms... Lotte uses a spell to put Kagari into Sucy's mind so she can try and wake Sucy up with an antidote... She meets Sucy's subconsious angel and demon forms, which are both basically the same...
She meets all of the little known parts of Sucy, who then get arrested and sentenced to death by the Sucy court... lmao
Kagari gets so into the idea of freeing all the "Sucy"s... she gets really into the dream and almost forgets that she's supposed to wake Sucy up... She keeps getting distracted
then she sees a movie showing Sucy's interpretation of her memories with Kagari... That was pretty sweet... It used a bunch of old western style animation.
Then all of the weird "Sucy"s that Kagari set free are all laughing at the fact that the school is being overtaken by mushrooms, and they combine to turn into a monstrous Sucy that is trying to devour everything... Then Kagari has an epic battle with a dragon before kissing Sucy to get her to wake up... That makes Sucy wake up and slap Kagari...
Then Kagari wakes up for real, and thinks the dream she just had was real and desperately tries to wake Sucy up.
...or was it a dream? Sucy brings up something that Kagari agreed to from inside her dream.

Episode 09 - Undead Travelogue
wtf this episode is so crazy.
At first, the headmaster is with a teacher when the students are asked to gather their precious amulets together... The headmaster teaches Kagari that her amulet must be something that reminds her of home... Kagari uses her Shiny Chariot card...
Next, Kagari is at the graveyard with Lotte and Sucy, and she accidentally knocks over a couple graves then accidentally brings a dead pirate back to life instead of repairing the graves. The pirate is going crazy trying to look for someone... Meanwhile they are chasing it around, making excuses for the public to prevent them from finding out about it and getting them in trouble.
The skeleton pirate eventually leads them to a magic item shop, and the pirate finds a picture of the person he's looking for, as well as an enrollment letter from Luna Nova... and there's a picture of a family... The skeleton is starting to get his memory back... going on about Miranda who was born to a witch and a normal human... He hates the guy who left his daughter alone after the mom died...
The headmaster asks Ursula where her true amulet is... She says who knows, it could be anywhere by now...

Kagari wants to go to the Hanbridge party that Diana and the other high class students are going to...
They go to the magic shop and get a pumpkin magic box and cast the cinderella spell with it to turn them all into cinderella.
Andrew tries to kick them out when he sees them... but then Sucy unleashes her "lovelove bee" she mistakenly got instead of another thing she ordered, and Andrew gets stung and falls in love with Kagari, and now sees her as a bishoujo...
The bee flies around and makes a bunch of other guys fall in love with Lotte... and later Diana also falls in love with Kagari.
Kagari sees Andrew getting scolded by his dad for inviting witches... he is trying to teach Andrew that witches are a dying breed and are unnecessary... and hears about how his dad forced him to give up his dream of playing piano. Kagari comes out and starts arguing with Andrew again, just like before all this stuff happened... Criticizing him for giving up on his dreams so easily...
... she thinks it's still because of the bee's effects.
She chases the bee into the mansion and is about to get kicked out, but then Andrew comes in and covers for her so she can eliminate the bee.
Andrew starts acting like his usual self towards Kagari... but one of the guys continues hitting on Lotte after the effects wear off... That guy later tells Andrew that he's noticed him taking an interest in Kagari despite his father's wishes.

While Ursula is looking at the stars and recalling her memories of Shiny Chariot, Kagari decides she'll try asking Ursula if she knows why Shiny Chariot disappeared 10 years ago... Lotte suggested she might have fallen into a forbidden love...
Ursula gets embarrassed about Kagari seeing this side of her, and quickly goes to put on her glasses... Tells Kagari about the spell she learned from the teacher she looked up to... it means
The shiny rod activates a statue, and a Zelda dungeon entrance-like stairwell to the blue moon abyss opens up...
and this music... this is so zelda dungeon-y.
Meanwhile, Diana is also studying under the blue moon because of what the headmaster said to her... Something about the Nine Olde Witches sealing the Grand Triskelion within Arcturius...
That time that Ursula came and helped Kagari activate the Shiny Rod... That spell was the first Word that Kagari was able to revive.
She uses it at the abyss... Ursula sees in her jar that Kagari has come to this place...
This is some trippy shit... she eventually finds the apparition of the abyss, and it offers her the chance to achieve the dream that she cannot reach, in exchange for giving up her past...
She activates the 2nd Word...
Ursula gets embarrassed about Kagari seeing this side of her, and quickly goes to put on her glasses... Tells Kagari about the spell she learned from the teacher she looked up to... it means

Come to think of it, tonight is the blue moon.The elder witches are having a meeting about the school's decline... talking about the great Nine Olde Witches who founded this school back when witches were popular. The headmaster gives Diana advice about being outside during the night of a blue moon.
The magic of the blue moon may reveal a secret to you.In Kagari's dream, she sees memories of Shiny Chariot using the blue moon to her advantage... She then wakes up, and remembers a story from her childhood about the location of the blue moon abyss, the place where she can use the power of the blue moon.

Only the staff bearing the seven stars, Claiomh Solais, may break the seal.Ursula is looking at a portrait of the thing Diana is studying... saying that Akko revived the first Word the day she arrived at Luna Nova.

Wow the plot just keeps getting better.
