Recap:
That symbolism of Kiki on the bike with that guy... she's using her broom riding skills to help him make the tight corners... then they actually manage to start flying... at least until the propellers break off and they fall onto the grass...
Kiki says she doesn't enjoy flying anymore... and gets depressed after she sees that guy's friends who she's still mad at... meanwhile the cat Jiji has a girlfriend now and has been spending time away from Kiki... and it seems like Kiki can no longer understand Jiji's talking anymore? Jiji is just meowing to her now...
Kiki realizes this... and then tests and realize she's losing her magic and can no longer fly.... she starts running up and down a hill trying to learn to fly again until she breaks her broom...
That girl who helped Kiki with her first delivery came to visit her... and Kiki tells her about losing her magic... she brings Kiki over to visit... Sees this huge weird painting... looks like a lizard, unicorn and ghost of a witch flying in the sky among a bunch of crows, toward the pink moon... she asks Kiki to model for her so she can improve her art...
Painting and magical powers seem very much the same. Sometimes I'm unable to paint a thing.
... At times like that, you know what I do? Paint. Paint with all my might. That gets rid of my frustrations.
omg... this is amazing. I totally get it...
Later, Kiki decides to use other modes of transportation to make a delivery for a repeat customer... it's the old woman from before, baking a cake and asking it to be delivered to the delivery girl.
Then she finds out on the news that a storm made the blimp go out of control and crash into a building... she goes to try and rescue her friend Tombo who is hanging off the blimp on a rope... she borrows a Janitor's broom and gets enough motivation/courage to learn to fly again... but can't control it well enough to grab onto Tombo... he falls, and she summons up the same courage she used to relearn to fly in order to fall and save him.
Was it your magic that made us stay up?
I'm not sure. Anything's possible.

Finding your own style... Trusting your spirit... That same spirit is what makes me paint and makes your friend bake.
