Nephrite learns of the Sailor soldiers' weakness, Tuxedo Mask... so he sends fake love letters from Tuxedo Mask to every girl in school... Naru has a crush on Nephrite from when she met him back in that tennis episode, and hopes that he is Tuxedo Mask... Nephrite senses a ton of emotional energy from Naru, and suspects her of being Sailor Moon.
Mamoru and Usagi know right away that this is some kind of setup... Nephrite reveals his secret Dark Moon allegiance to Sailor Moon... not as smart as he seems. Sailor Moon's tiara doesn't work on one of his monsters, and then the real Tuxedo Mask comes to help out... Then Sailor Moon gets trapped in an elevator with Tuxedo Mask. This is the first time they've gotten to talk to each other this much.
Episode 20
A weird beach trip episode... they go to a hotel when it starts thunderstorming, Usagi freaking out at the people dressed like monsters... This kinda has a haunted house vibe. Some little girl with psychic powers is being manipulated by her father and isn't allowed to go outside and make friends... Instead of the Dark Kingdom being behind this it turns out to be some sort of self contained spooky ghost story with a nice feel good ending... I was way too high when I watched this and didn't pay much attention to what actually happened lol
Episode 21
lol I like that episode title
"Protect the Children's Dreams: Friendship Through Anime"
I like how this episode is kinda Naoko's self insert fictional universe where her original "Sailor V" manga actually became popular.
These 2 girls made a weird friendship pact where they give each other pencils and agree to never use those pencils... now this one girl is using monstrous amounts of energy to keep her last friendship pencil alive for as long as possible.
I like the insert song in this.
Episode 22
The Dark Kingdom gets fooled by this Princess Diamond thing, thinking this is the actual moon princess and the Silver Crystal.
Mamoru's dreams are getting more and more intense. Now when he sees Usagi she reminds him of that princess from his dreams...
Episode 23
Queen Beryl is now getting fed up with Nephrite for failing so much, he's becoming the next Jadeite... meanwhile the gay couple Zoicite and Kunzite are acting all cocky towards him.
Nephrite's going all out now... holy shit this part is more epic than I remembered. He tries to get the black crystal to guide him towards the silver crystal, but instead it guides him toward Naru... she has so much emotional energy towards him that it takes priority over everything else in his black crystal divinations...
Episode 24
The drama gets really good here... then that gets ruined by a hilariously bad fighting scene.
Nephrite betrays the Dark Kingdom to save Naru... Zoicite's monsters are on a whole different level, and Moon, Mercury and Mars need to combine their attacks to take it out.
Episode 25
Beryl has collected enough human energy to revive Metalia... so now she just needs to focus on finding the silver crystal. For some reason, only now do they find out that the silver crystal has been split into the 7 rainbow crystals to seal 7 great youma... Zoicite goes on a mission to find those rainbow crystals and revive those monsters.
Makoto transfers to Usagi's school and instantly becomes friends with her and the others at the arcade, and Luna gets her to transform into Sailor Jupiter after she's already started fighting the youma and winning... Sailor Moon gets chosen as the leader of the Sailor Soldiers, and gains the crescent moon wand.
