Episode 12
Sakura's cheerfulness is starting to rub off on Syaoran, and Syaoran helps Sakura learn how to sense cards as they both realize they are stuck in a time loop... Syaoran ends up obtaining the card this time, since it was his actions that captured it.
Episode 13
A field trip to the zoo... lol Syaoran is just like Sakura in a lot of ways... the power card is causing the animals at the zoo to go crazy, and Sakura defeats it at tug-of-war...
The Clow Cards are like... magic in their true form, disguised as cards...
Episode 14
Sakura's brother Touya and Yukito are in a Cinderella play, and some weird mist appears that wrecks the stage and puts them in danger... somehow Sakura defeats the mist card by wrapping it in Shadow... lol how does that work?
Syaoran with the save... "Pedals of wind, answer my call"
Episode 15
Sakura and Kero have a big fight and Kero runs away and accidentally makes friends with a little girl, and has to pretend to be a stuffed doll the whole time... Woah, Tomoyo was using Google Maps or something... Japan had that way back then apparently?
Episode 16
Sakura and the Rainbow of Memories
Another family drama episode... This episode gave me major feels the first time I watched it and it's still one of my favorites... words can't even do it justice.
Episode 17
Test of courage episode... Syaoran again shows another side to him and starts acting a lot nicer toward Sakura now...
Episode 18
This festival episode has a really nice "magical" feel to it... with the Glow card adding to the atmosphere of the festival... Sakura was the first one who sensed it, and she captured it without Syaoran's or Kero's help.
Episode 19
Sakura needs to hurry to finish her summer homework, and the Move card plays a prank on her by moving a book around. Again Sakura starts showing improvement in her card sensing abilities...
Then at the end when they are at Syaoran's house, Li Meiling suddenly comes and moves in with him.
Episode 20
Meiling transfers to Sakura's school and starts competing with Sakura at everything... she's like Syaoran's arranged wife, and gets jealous very easily... Syaoran seems to think of her as just an annoyance, and when she tries to help him capture a card with her fighting skills, he yells at her and says this is a job for magi and she should stay out of it...
The "Leave it to Kero" segments at the end are starting to run out of things to talk about...
