Lotte and Sucy tell Diana that Akko has gone missing. Diana goes to tell Ursula...
Chariot's full backstory is revealed... Just like Akko, she wanted to make people happy with her magic, but she was bad at it... Then she was chosen to revive the Grand Triskelion, and kept using her teacher's phrase, "A believing heart is your magic", as inspiration to find 6 of the 7 words...
Then she accepted an offer to work as a performance artist, hoping that would lead her to the 7th word, but it didn't go anywhere, and her popularity started dropping... then Croix came and helped her out, by getting her to use Dream Fuel Spirit to charge up her powers and put on better performances... It was only after she started doing this that Croix revealed how Dream Fuel Spirit actually works.
After that she refused to use it anymore, and people started losing interest in her shows... so then she did something crazy, and used a powerful attack to shoot the moon and made a huge cross-shaped crater on it. I guess after that, she was so ashamed she changed her name and appearance and became a teacher.
I see... so it was never really Chariot's fault at all. This should lead to an easy resolution then... Still leaves 2 episodes to resolve the Croix issue and learn the 7th word.
Diana goes to ask Ursula about Akko, and also tells her she's figured out that she is Chariot. Ursula tells her everything, but she doesn't want to go and find Akko... Diana's still so calm and collected after finding out about what Chariot did, and she says she's more disappointed in her for not going after Akko than anything else.
Diana finds Akko outside in the cold, and brings her to a coffee shop... She shows Akko her rare premium Chariot card that she was secretive about up until now... Diana wasn't able to go Chariot's shows, until her mother helped her sneak out to go see the same show that Akko saw. Akko realizes that's what Andrew was referring to when he said Diana lost her magic and had to work hard to get it back... Diana tells her that it was thanks to Chariot's show that she never gave up and was able to become a great witch even despite the setback.
Diana gives Akko her rare card, and then Lotte and the others come, and Akko regains her conviction and says she'll never give up at becoming a great witch.
The episode ends just as Chariot is confronting Croix, and trying to put a stop to the final stage of her plan...

Unfortunately, the more I learned of magic and the more aware I became of the expectations placed on me, the further my heart grew away from Chariot.But despite that, she still went to Luna Nova because of Chariot... and she became jealous of Akko after seeing how her magic had that certain charm that she lacked...
Diana gives Akko her rare card, and then Lotte and the others come, and Akko regains her conviction and says she'll never give up at becoming a great witch.

Wow, for an episode where not much happened besides talking, this was really really good.
Episode 24 - The Road to Arcturus
Chariot has to keep her emotions under control so that Croix can't use them to steal her magic... She can't fly anymore because of the pollen, but she still can do crazy acrobatics and also she has a light saber.
The energy from all the riots has brought the Noir Rod to full power, and the final stage of Croix's plan is executed... She steals all the energy from the philosopher's stone, and becomes god of the witches... no witch can use magic anymore without one of her devices...
Akko and the notice something crazy going on in the forest, and go to check it out... but then they fall into Arcturus Forest. Croix takes the giant Noir Rod and teleports to that Forest, which contains her final target, the Grand Triskelion... but not before Chariot jumps towards her and teleports along with her. Chariot is unable to stop Croix from getting to it... but then... her plan fails. The Noir Rod doesn't give her power over the Grand Triskelion... she breaks down, almost crying...
Akko calls out to Chariot... reminds her of the first word, the word Chariot taught Akko earlier in this same location...

Why do you always look right past me? Why won't you guide me?Then Croix starts to lose control of the Noir Rod due to too much fuel building up in it... She sends some remote bombs to destroy it... but then more cubes come and turn the Noir Rod into a giant monster... Chariot uses her amazing acrobatic+combat skills to fight it off for a while, until Akko and Diana arrive and blast it with the Claihm Solais... Oh yeah... that's a plot element from the OVA, the Shiny Rod can store a ton of magical energy, so they can still draw mana from it...
Akko calls out to Chariot... reminds her of the first word, the word Chariot taught Akko earlier in this same location...
Noctu... Orfei! Aude! Fraetor!They both called out the spell in sync... defeated the Noir monster in 1 hit... Wow this rod is broken tier...
Shiny Arc!

Change the world. Connect with other people, and your dreams will grow....The stick that Chariot threw at Croix I think? That stick is glowing... the world reconstruction magic... Akko uses the 7th word with both Chariot's rod and this stick... and the Arcturus Forest regains its magic...

Oh man... the Noir Fuel is still out there... of course it can't end perfectly, otherwise that might mean the series would end forever after one season...
Now it's taking over some military's missile systems...
Croix:
While everyone else thinks they're doomed, Akko says the 9 witches gathered here are enough to stop the missile if they combine their forces... Diana is the first to chime in and agree...
Chariot and Croix use a spell to give the 7 younger witches a powerup...
Oh yeah, the 2nd OVA had that whole thing about combining your hearts as one to use a stronger type of magic... This final episode is taking a bit from that.
Each witch sits on a different branch of the Claihm Solais, where the use one of the lit up lights on it to draw power from... and they all call out the flight spell...
This episode's story would also make a really badass final level of a LWA game
Croix: "We're failures as teachers. They'll never make it."
Chariot: "Akko might be able to make something happen."
Each of the 7 witches, one by one, uses up all the energy in their part of the rod to give them a speedboost, with just enough left to fly off on their broom... Somehow, the video feed of the rocket that's being broadcast everywhere, turns into a video feed of the witches flying off to save it... Andrew's dad is arguing with the government about what to do... and Andrew chimes in to argue that people need to know about it... but the counter argument "Do you want to give them pretext for a counter-strike?" shuts him up.
Then the government and the rest of Andrew's family all see the witch feed...
Yeah I see what's going on... This is totally a Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon ending where the whole world gives their magic to the heroine to save the day... and I bet Croix will be the last one to lend Akko and Diana her strength...
Croix sees this unknown magic source that's like fuel spirit, except it's not...

Akko runs onto the missile, using her usual animal forms to run away and avoid getting hit... but then Diana gets hit and falls off the broom... Akko saves her, riding the legendary super broom that she one a relay race with before...
The entire planet synchronized its spirit to recreate Yggdrasil...

Then during the credits, she finally overcomes the Dream Fuel Spirit curse and learns how to fly.
